For 30 years they told us the European Union was the future. Peace, prosperity, unity. What did we get? Over 92 million people at risk of poverty in the richest continent on earth. Corruption in Brussels on an industrial scale. Wages that haven’t moved in 20 years. And a war in Ukraine that we are paying for, that will never be won, while our own cities collapse. It’s time to ask the forbidden question: What if leaving is not radical, but rational? This is the official Eurostat number. 92 million Europeans at risk of poverty or social exclusion. One in five. In Italy, in France, in Germany, people cannot pay rent. Young people live with their parents until 35 because they cannot afford a house. Food banks in London. Pensioners counting coins in Berlin. And what does Brussels do? It talks about green transition, digital identity, and pronouns. The EU is rich enough to send €100 billion to Ukraine, but too poor to lift its own people out of poverty. That tells you everything about its priorities. Qatargate. Pfizergate. The deleted SMS between Ursula von der Leyen and the Pfizer CEO for a €35 billion vaccine contract. No transcript, no investigation, no resignation. The EU Court of Auditors itself says billions disappear every year. The EU has never had its accounts fully approved. Commissioners earning €25,000 a month, tax-free, plus housing, plus pensions for life. They have never created a single job, but they regulate the size of your vacuum cleaner. This is not a union. It’s a cartel for the political class. Look at your paycheck. In Italy, in France, in Spain, real wages are flat or lower than 15 years ago. Life is more expensive. Energy bills tripled. Supermarkets up 40%. Meanwhile, the EU bureaucracy grew by 30%. They get automatic raises. They get inflation bonuses. You get told to “tighten your belt” and “consume less”. How is it progress if after 20 years in the EU you earn less, own less, and can afford less? We have given Ukraine more than €200 billion between weapons, cash, and “aid.” For what? The front line hasn’t moved in two years. No one in Brussels can even define what “victory” means. We are deindustrializing Germany to sanction Russia, while Russia sells more gas than before. We are emptying our own arsenals, while our streets have no police. We are told to risk nuclear war for a country that is not in the EU, not in NATO, and is ranked one of the most corrupt in the world. America will cut a deal and leave. Europe will be left with the bill, the refugees, and the hatred. Brussels banned the combustion engine by 2035. It closed nuclear plants in Germany. It imposed ETS taxes that make it impossible to produce steel, cement, or cars in Europe. Result: BASF leaves Germany. Factories close in Italy. We now import Chinese electric cars to replace the cars we invented. We import American gas at 4x the price of Russian gas and call it “freedom.” This is not ecological. It’s economic suicide. Did you vote to have open borders? Did you vote for 2 million illegal entries per year? Did you vote for Digital Services Act censorship? Did you vote for Ursula von der Leyen? No. No one did. She was installed in a backroom deal. The EU Parliament cannot propose laws. It can only approve what unelected Commissioners write. This is not democracy. This is the opposite of democracy. Brexit was called a disaster. Britain left and its economy outgrew Germany in the last 2 years. Britain could control its borders, its energy, its money. The EU was supposed to make us richer, safer, freer. It made us poorer, less safe, less free. Nations are not leaving because they hate Europe. They must leave because they love their nations. Because they want to decide their own wages, their own borders, their own energy, their own wars. France for the French. Italy for the Italians. Germany for the Germans. Not for Brussels. The EU will not reform itself. It only knows how to take more power, more money, more control. The only vote that matters is the vote to leave.
